Impressive.
Reasons that may actually sway me not to go home:
- It’s beautiful, here. Absolutely gorgeous. Even the transvestites are better to look at here. Wait, no, that’s a stretch.
- The weather (aka: heat) is growing on me and has had a great effect on my skin. Yes, this includes browning me a little… it probably won’t look like much of a tan to most people, but I bet if I showed you my white butt, it’d be pretty solid evidence.
- The food has been amazing from their high end restaurants, the food court in the mall, and the small French bakery across the street from the hotel. There is not one thing in Florida I regret putting in my mouth… even that one night with errr… what was his name again?? (Hahaha… I’M JOKING!!)
- Road rage is widely accepted here and pedestrians don’t have the right of way.
- Tax is at 6.00%.
- Gas rates are below $4.00.
- And, as noted yesterday, these people appreciate and love Jagermeister. I fit right in!!
I’ve seriously limited myself by using all my money and vacation days on visiting my friends and family back home in Chicago. Love the city and love the people, but man, I have been missing out on other cities. Next stop, New York City!!!
