It’s a Wrap! #5 [04.04.2009]
Gosh, I’ve been MIA all week from the blog scene. I’m alive, I assure you. I’m catching up on my reading, so please bear with me.
Anyhow, the week was a little low-key, but I’m sure I’ll manage to find some “favorites” to share as I start racking my brain.
It’s Saturday, the week’s a wrap, and here are the things that made me smile this week:
Sunday’s WOMANce was the best one so far! We didn’t make it in time for the bottomless mimosas and brunch, but we remained positive and found that things really do happen for a reason. We randomly came across a small Mexican restaurant that had a sign for a great happy hour as well as karaoke and we decided it sounded fun. We had such a blast… it was pretty much just the three of us on rotation all night.
Two of my three classes on Monday were canceled, so I decided to take an extra day off.
On Tuesday, I had dinner with Lori for a much needed catch-up session. I got into a bit of a beef with some random old lady sitting behind me, but three words: CHICKEN FRIED STEAK. Well worth it.
Wednesday was rough, but I got to see the gals for a little bit of WOMANce and wine at Zebulon.
On Thursday, I took Kayla and Alyssa to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D to celebrate Alyssa’s birthday. It was a fun little movie that Alyssa and I enjoyed… while Kayla fell asleep. That nap cost me $10. Sheesh! But it was worth it — we had a good time. We always do. I love those girls so much!
Kicked off Friday with a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant. The end.
It’s Saturday and favorite guy is off in Tahoe with the boys (and missed terribly). Bailey-boo-ba-loo and I will spend some quality time with the girls for WOMANce and DOGmance. Pictures will follow some day, I’m sure.

the best was when you put up your hands as if to do your “girrl, this is my song!” dance and started bouncing back more against that hag’s chair. hahaha loves it
